2020-04-27 News and Events; Fear of Failure, Recalculating, and Letting Go
I recently took on a new role at work and I’m not so sure I like it. New relationships, new processes, and new challenges have caused me to re-examine my energy daily! What are ways you cope in new situations? Do you have a “happy thought” to carry you through the low times? When you stumble over your ego, feel like a failure, or find yourself embarrassed when someone correct you, how do you pick yourself up and raise your energy?Having been in this situation before, I found myself reverting to a “past” me. Before I realized I had psychic gifts (we all have them), I would react to feelings I could “sense” such as anger, upset, confusion, or stress. Initially, I felt like I was being reprimanded and coddled in front of my peers when I did something that was not in line with their processes or procedures. I responded with criticism and blame.However, what I have learned, is that when I feel any kind of negativity that is mine, such as worry, fear, or uncertainty, it is a resistance to my own expansion. I learned many things this week. Most importantly, how to LISTEN in the face of the emotional roller coaster that was going on inside of me. By the end of the week, we were able to start documenting processes so we can repeat them in support of all of the people involved. We put together a plan, a way forward, a map of the duties and expectations of my new Team. More than once, I had to do an energy check to ground myself and “LET GO” of feelings that were being triggered from my past, and I recalculate who I wanted to be in the situation, how I wanted to “show up”.It is in the comfort of spiritual meditations and inner guidance that I was able to basically pull my head out of my @$$ and figure out a way to BE a new me, someone who wants to be hopeful, honest, and helpful. Thankfully, I have a Supervisor who is very kind and supportive. We reviewed my mistakes and I made commitments of checking my energy so as not to verbally vomit in response to someone’s negativity when I am under duress, and “clear” my energy in between conversations so that I can reset who I am being in the days ahead.Only then can I drop the fear of failure and come to the conversations with a new heart.May I be as loving and patient with my co-workers as my Supervisor is with me. That in and of itself makes all the difference!

2020-04-20: Discover Healing Properties and Mystic Lore of Crystals
As our world has quieted and our lives are on pause, I have enjoyed the self reflection, the spiritual practice in my home, and the ability to disengage from the busyness of life that would often distract or derail me. However, the Spirit World waits for no man and I did boldly venture out this week to experience my first Quantum Healing Hypnotherapy session with Courtney Starkey, M.Ed., MHt.What makes QHHT sessions so special is the ability to experience a conversation with your Subconscious (i.e., Soul) to unlock profound self-healing and wisdom during hypnosis. What I learned in the session was eye opening, awe inspiring, validation, and confirmation that the way the world appears on social media and TV is far from the true nature of our personal reality and how the world is changing. If you want to assist humanity and all life during this time of the pandemic, open to the light within you. Call upon your soul and let the illumination of your soul pour through you. Commit to being a beacon of light, bringing hope and inspiration to everyone you contact.2. The light of your soul reveals your divine Self, the innermost part of your being. To connect with your divine Self, relax your body and clear your mind. Let yourself grow more peaceful, more present in this moment. 3. For an expanded meditation, let go of your thoughts, and open to the Divine within you in a moment of silence. Ask your true, innermost Self to reveal Itself to you. Allow more of the consciousness of your divine Self to become your consciousness.4. Sense your inner light becoming brighter and more visible with this contact. I love technology and am grateful for the infrastructure that is in place to help us through this crisis. As an IT professional, I am aware of increased bandwidth for VPNs, security updates, cloud computing, webinar technology… these things thrill me! I am such a geek.
We are now able to bring education, medical care, banking, telework, shopping and of course entertainment streaming into our living rooms. As an introvert, I love it!
